Condolence From: Fran DeSalvo Jr
Condolence: I am so saddened by Art's passing. It was an honor to share the stage with him. His bass lines were effortless, full of layered soul. And to top it off he had that great bluesy voice and stage presence. Art picked up things so quickly that he sounded great even when he was playing a song for the first time. Most of all I will miss his friendly demeanor. Rock and roll bands are known for drama, but whenever I saw Art he had that big smile on his face. The angels just got one heck of a soul and musician for their band!

Condolence: The pleasure was all mine to be playing music - over 10 years history - with Art. Talented on the upright, the electric and great behind the mic...Art put the P in passion every time we played music together always in the presence of our buddy Hubie. Curious, earnest, always smiling - these are things I think of and my memories of Art. I hope Art’s getting out the bass and sipping a glass of Drambuie while looking down on us all. We miss you but the memories tell us so much. Zach
