Patricia Ann Tanski (nee Fida), age 84, of Philadelphia, PA passed away while surrounded by loving family on Tuesday, July 28, 2020.
Mrs. Tanski was a lifelong resident of Philadelphia. She was extremely devoted to her faith, and was a member of Saint Anselm RC Church. In her leisure, she enjoyed spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by those she leaves behind.
Patricia is survived by her beloved spouse of nearly 64 years, John N. Tanski; children, Cathy McMullen (Sean), Michael Tanski, Janet Gilbert (John), Lisa Coates (Bob), Robert Tanski (Amelyn); grandchildren, Jacquelyn Dewechter, Patti Meyers, Robert Gilbert, Danielle Coates, Patrick Gilbert, Sean Tanski, Anna Tanski; great-grandchild, Adeleine Dewechter; siblings, Barbara Duffy, Joyce Dougherty, Judy Gallo, Blair Fida. She was predeceased by her sisters, Joan Barrie and Carol Tierney; and her brother, Jimmy Fida.
At the family’s request, Mrs. Tanski’s viewing, mass, and interment will be private due to concern for public safety.
