George Edward Slater, age 68, of Cherry Hill, NJ passed away while surrounded by loving family
on Friday, April 12, 2019.

Mr. Slater was born in Orange, NJ, raised in Little Falls, NJ and had resided in Sussex County for
40 years before moving to Cherry Hill 4 years ago. He was an avid guitar player and an amazing
chef. But above all else, he cherished the time spent with family, especially making memories at
the beach. He will be deeply missed by those he leaves behind.

George is survived by his beloved spouse, Eve Slater (nee Schultz); children, Ashley Watson
(Justin) and John Schultz; brother, Donald Slater; sister, Susan Strom; grandchild, Evelyn Watson;
mother-in-law, Sue Schultz; nieces, Karin Meyer, and Kristine Strom; nephew, Justin Slater.

A viewing will be held on Monday, April 15 th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Mount Laurel Home
for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. On Tuesday April 16th at 11 AM, a
graveside service will be held at Basking Ridge Presbyterian Church, 1 East Oak St. Basking
Ridge NJ 07920. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in George’s name may be made to
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
