Obituary for James Francis McAnally
James Francis McAnally, age 84, of Mount Laurel, NJ passed away while surrounded by loving family on Thursday, February 28, 2019.
Mr. McAnally was born in Camden, NJ and grew up in Philadelphia. He resided in West Berlin, NJ before moving to Mount Laurel 22 years ago. Jim was a lifetime member of the Steamfitters Union Local 420. He was employed by Johnson Controls and retired after 32 years. In his leisure, he enjoyed golfing, traveling to visit family, and going to the movies. Throughout his life, Jim also enjoyed rooting for the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles, as well as watching golf on television. But above all else, he cherished time spent with family and will be deeply missed by those he leaves behind.
James is survived by his spouse of 59 years, Rita McAnally; his children, Edward T. McAnally (Patricia), Jacqueline Katz (Brian), James M. McAnally (Kristin); his grandchildren, Matthew McAnally, Megan McAnally, Erin Katz, Kaitlyn McAnally, Lauryn Katz, Kristina McAnally.
A visitation will be held on Monday, March 18th from 8:45 to 9:30 AM followed by a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian burial, both at the Church of Saint Isaac Jogues, 349 Evesboro-Medford Road, Marlton, NJ 08053. Final disposition will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in James’s name may be made to Samaritan Health Care & Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
