Julia M. Vargas (nee Rodriguez), age 79, of Lumberton, NJ passed away while surrounded by loving family on Sunday, November 25, 2018.

Julia was born and raised in New York, NY and had resided in the Bronx before moving to the South Jersey area 20 years ago. In her leisure she enjoyed dancing and taking trips with her friends to the Atlantic City casinos. But above all else, she treasured spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters, and will be deeply missed by those she leaves behind.

Julia is survived by her daughter, Myra Levine (Robert); granddaughters, Julia Levine and Alyssa Levine; companion of 38 years, Frank Mendez; mother, Manola Rodriguez; sisters, Maria Rodriguez and Nereida Flores.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 29th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM immediately followed by the funeral service, both at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ. Interment will be private.
