Robert Philip Rende, age 66, passed away on February 21, 2019 with his loving family by his side.
Robert was born and raised in Woodbury, NJ and had spent some time in Arizona before recently moving to Mount Laurel, NJ. He was a Woodbury High School graduate of the class of 1970. He served his country proudly as a Navy Veteran during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Woodbury Athletic Alumni Association. Bob passion was baseball, watching it, playing it and coaching it at different levels. Bob was a great fan of the Eagles and Phillies. He also enjoyed vacationing at the Jersey Shore and Virginia, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
Bob was pre-deceased by his parents Agatha nee (DiBartolo) and Albert A Rende.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Nancy (nee O’Connell) Rende; his stepson, Matthew Land and his wife Margaret; his siblings, Albert Rende and his wife Carol, Frances and her late husband Edward and Thomas Rende and his wife Mary Ann. He was a longtime friend of Tom Keegan. He was also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Thursday February 28, 2019 from 10:30am-12:30pm immediately followed by his Life Celebration Service both at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals 212 Ark Road Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Inurnment will be at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery 350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ 08562 at 2:30pm.
