Obituary for William George Lohman
William George Lohman, age 89, of Leisuretowne, Southampton, NJ passed away peacefully while surrounded by loving family on Sunday, April 7, 2019.
Mr. Lohman was born in Wyckoff, NJ and had lived in Bergenfield, NJ and Medford,NJ before moving to Leisuretowne in 2009. William served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing, fishing, and going on cruises. But above all else, he cherished the time spent with family, and he will be deeply missed by those he leaves behind.
William is survived by his beloved spouse, Bettie H. Lohman (nee Burder); son, William J. Lohman (Marjorie), daughter, Suzanne M. Brinn (Tony); step-children, Kurt Kraenbring, Erika Grandrimo (Jim), Helga Pryor (Mike); grandchildren, Matthew (Melissa), Michelle (Daeil), Katie, Justin, Jamie, Arielle (Stephen), Matthew, Michael, John; great-grandchildren, Abby, Penny, Cooper, and Aiden. William is predeceased by his sisters, Ann Anton, Jean Krunbach, and Marilyn Sutcliffe.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 13th from 11:00 to 12:30 PM immediately followed by the memorial service, both at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ. Final disposition will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude children’s hospital.
